What’s “Just Keep Writing”?

“Just keep writing” is my mantra, some days, and also a weekly newsletter devoted to basically whatever’s going through my brain.

Who are you?

Excellent question. I’m a writer, editor, and book coach. Back in 2011 I wrote “Let’s Panic About Babies” with the brilliant Eden Marriott Kennedy. More recently I was the editor-in-chief of Lifehacker. I’ve contributed to numerous magazines and sites, and I starred in this video. I still get emails about that video. My son will never let me live it down.

Why subscribe?

If you subscribe, you’ll get my love and appreciation. I am keeping the newsletter free for now, but your support means the world to me. Plus, you’ll be able to comment on the website. Non-paying subscribers will just have to keep their thoughts to themselves. (Or email me directly, I guess.)

Stay up-to-date

You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.

Sometimes I'll write about writing, mostly I'll write about my life with my husband and elderly cat and dog. And my son, too, when he shows up.
