What’s “The Fainting Couch”?

Listen, I needed to come up with a name.

Who are you?

Excellent question. I’m a writer, editor, and writing coach. Back in 2011 I wrote “Let’s Panic About Babies” with the brilliant Eden Marriott Kennedy. More recently I was the editor-in-chief of Lifehacker. I’ve contributed to numerous magazines and sites, and I starred in this video. I still get emails about that video. My son will never let me live it down.

If you subscribe, you’ll get my love and appreciation. You’ll get newsletters just for paid subscribers, too, every other week. Plus, you’ll be able to comment on the website. Non-paying subscribers will just have to keep their thoughts to themselves. (Or email me directly, I guess.)
